ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) ? Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo banged his passing hand on a defender's helmet at the end of his first series Saturday, and wasn't likely to play the rest of the game.
X-rays showed no damage. He returned and threw a few wobbly warm-up passes on the sideline, got his hand wrapped and traded his helmet for a baseball cap. His injury was described as a bruise.
Stephen McGee replaced Romo at the start of the second series ? and probably would've soon or later anyway. When the Giants had just won their game, it made this one irrelevant to Dallas, whose postseason chances will be decided in the finale against the Giants in New York next weekend.
Other key players likely were to get the rest of the game off, too.
