The wife of Sydney man Kristian Anderson, who made a famous YouTube tribute video for her, says his death sometimes "breaks her heart".

"There are times when I'm at peace and I know where he is and I know that he is happy and he's got his new body.

"And other times it just breaks my heart because I just want to tell him what's happening and he's just not here," Rachel Anderson told Network Seven on Thursday.

Mr Anderson died at Manly Hospital just after 8am (AEDT) on Monday following a two-year fight with bowel cancer.

The funeral for the 36-year-old from Curl Curl will be held on Friday at C3 Church at Oxford Falls - the place where the couple met.

"(His son) Cody has been calling it Daddy's Concert, so I guess that is kind of what it will be," she said.

She said she had spoken with Cody, aged five, and Jakob, three, about what had happened to their father.

"We talked about Daddy living in their hearts forever and that he was going to go to heaven and that he wouldn't have this body that was sick any more."

She said Mr Anderson's campaigning on bowel cancer meant he would live on.

"In some ways he is extending the lives of people ... and he's going to live on through that."

Kristian's touching YouTube clip, which has been viewed almost 400,000 times, was made as a birthday present for his wife and to thank her for her support.

It featured an introduction by New Zealand Prime Minster John Key, because Rachel is a Kiwi, and an appearance from film star Hugh Jackman.

Oprah Winfrey gave the couple $250,000 for medical expenses when she hosted an episode of her show at the Sydney Opera House in January last year.

Lord Sugar loses Rupert Murdoch as a Twitter follower

The News International mogul appeared to be searching for the businessman to follow on the microblogging site after tweeting: "Alan-sugar".

Lord Sugar then suggested Mr Murdoch could be looking at the site as a business opportunity, saying: "I wonder is my old pal @rupertmurdoch is eying up Twitter to buy or invest in it. He missed out on Facebook and My Space. not a great deal."

Lord Sugar sold his electronics firm Amstrad to Mr Murdoch's BSkyB in a ?125 million deal in 2007.

But today, the entrepreneur pointed out the 80-year-old had stopped following him.

Mr Murdoch, who has 105,994 followers, followed just 11 people four days after joining, including Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan and Twitter chairman Jack Dorsey.

Sensing a snub, Lord Sugar tweeted: "@rupertmurdoch Why did you un follow me did you see too many press articles saying you only follow 4 people one of which was me ??"

Mr Murdoch has yet to reply, commenting largely on the Republican leadership contest in the US.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands ? Authorities are asking farmers to evacuate a village in the low-lying northern Netherlands after days of drenching rains and strong winds sparked fears of a dike breach.

Some 85 people in the village of Tolbert (160 kilometers (100 miles) north of Amsterdam are being asked to leave their farms voluntarily as a storm batters the region.

A month's worth of rain has soaked the northern Netherlands in recent days and a northwesterly wind is hampering efforts to pump the water out of polders ? reclaimed land that is drained by pumps and mills.

Water authorities further north said early Thursday the situation there was under control after they pumped millions of gallons of water into the sea, lowering water levels in drainage canals that crisscross the country.
